Come along to 1471 Horwich Squadron’s Open Evening and discover what life as an RAF Air Cadet is really like. Meet our cadets and volunteer staff, explore the squadron, and find out more about the wide range of opportunities available — from flying, gliding and adventure training to first aid, leadership, fieldcraft, shooting, sport, STEM, camps and much more. The evening is ideal for young people considering joining, as well as parents and carers who would like to learn more about the RAF Air Cadets, how the squadron operates and what cadets can achieve. No previous experience is needed — just come along, meet the team and see where your Air Cadet journey could take you.
